Sales Engineer/Account manager
Description
ITI is looking for a few good men and women who are team oriented. The purpose of a sales engineer is to accomplish sales and service objectives by implementing sales and service plans.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Implement sales program by identifying prospects, developing field sales action plans, and monitoring results
- Keeping up with policies and programs related to power systems studies and applying that towards customer needs.
- Knowledgeable of Product line and service repairs, installation and maintenance requirements
- Prepare sales and service reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Interacting and consulting with customers on their specific customer needs
Qualifications
- Great interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
- B.S. or Associates Degree
- Ability to negotiate, develop budgets, and manage processes
- Proficient at computer software including but not limited to Word, Excel, One Note
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills using various communication systems
- Establishing and nurturing client relationships
- Developing strong relationships with key decision makers
- Maintaining existing business and presenting new products
- Preparing honest bids and price quotes
- Cold Calling Customers on occasion

Field Service Engineer/Technician
A field service engineer provides field service engineering and technical assistance to customers in areas of installation, startup, maintenance, repair, training, and testing. Individuals self-manage assigned projects for electrical equipment including working knowledge of electrical test and diagnostic equipment.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Planning daily travel schedule, investigating complaints, conducting field tests, problem solving
- Ability to regularly shift between planned and unplanned activities, while remaining effective despite the resulting disruptive effects
- Maintaining equipment at customer facilities
- Installing and servicing electric systems and products
- Responding to emergency after hours calls
- Handling unexpected travel and variable work schedule (gas, hotel, food, and travel time are paid for in most instances)
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable with equipment that includes transformers, oil circuit breakers, power circuit breakers, metal-clad and enclosed switchgear, protective relays, power cables, substation equipment, motor control centers, medium voltage control, excitation equipment, automatic transfer switches, grounding systems, rotating equipment and AC Drives
- 3-5 years experience (preferred)
- Proficient at computer software including but not limited to Word, Excel, One Note
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills using various communication systems
- B.S. degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (other fields of engineering may be acceptable)
- Practices commercial awareness by working with company salespeople to provide excellent customer service and increase the size and profitability of new and existing contracts
- Maintain customer confidence by keeping service information confidential
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Power Systems Engineer
Description
Primary function of power systems engineer is to provide applied engineering and technical consultation for customers in areas of power systems studies, power quality analysis, installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and training. Position focuses on short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, and power quality analysis.
Specific Responsibilities
- Design and conduct specialized training for customers
- Mentor or lead other engineers on projects
- Perform field testing and lead start-up acceptance testing
- Position focuses on short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, and power quality analysis.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience on power systems engineering work (preferred)
- PE license or equivalent (preferred)
- Proficient at computer software including but not limited to Easy Power and SKM
- Must be able to understand electrical schematics and block diagrams
- Knowledge of billing and invoicing policies for service
- Evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems
- Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical equipment
